The little flying bird was linoprinted by hand with oil inks on fine deckle-edged cardstock, then colored with ink and the words were stamped on in red ink. Signed and dated.

Looks wonderful on a little frame and is a lovely item to collect.

This is an 8 x 10 print of my original mixed media illustration. The original was drawn by hand with ink, photographic elements were added, and then the image was enhanced digitally using a graphics tablet. There is a small white border surrounding each piece.

Description
“Poppies” is a print of an original watercolor painting on cardstock.

Inspiration
“Poppies” is somewhat experimentation with watercolor paint. It is very simple, in terms of complexity, with an array of colors from the rainbow. Flowers are usually complex, and to show them in a simplified way demonstrates that not everything (in life, ect) has to be complicated to be beautiful - the simplified things have the same, if not more beauty at times.

This interesting and unusual image is from a series of work I have made using an antique Ross Ensign Twin Lens Reflex Camera which has been adapted for use with my Digital SLR.

This TTV technique produces grainy, slightly soft focus vintage style photographs. These pictures are charming and evocative glimpses of a photographic era gone by.

The 8x8 inch photograph is printed on premium quality paper fine art paper with pigmented inks, created in my studio darkroom and digital facility, where I work full time.

The black area is visible on the picture and the print has a white outer border for ease of framing. This listing is for the photograph only, matting or mount board can be supplied in any colour (I prefer classic ice white) at an £8 additional charge. I can also quote for and supply wooden frames as well. Please contact me for details.
