Furosaki can only be used in tea ceremonies, but this Kekkai is now casually used as an interior item.

A piece of Kiri wood is smoked over and over again. Wiping off the ashes, the craftsman polish the smoked wood with a cloth one by one. By repeating this process, the "warm soft color" is made, and creates a beautiful design that only nature can produce.]]></content:encoded>
