Olivier Droillard, a Frenchman with a studio in London, said he is fascinated by the look, feel and functions of boxes. His slim table, called the Latimer, below, uses a modular system of brown, beige and white boxes, some with lids or drawers. He assembles the boxes, which can be ordered in other colors and configurations, and sits them on tapered oak legs.
