Another stupid gadget. When my son is in his crib, he is most likely sleeping and doesn't want to listen to music or turn on the light to read a book. He doesn't know how to read, and if he wanted to listen to music I could play it on my laptop or on a plain old CD player. added on 2008-08-08

To help teach your children to walk because you know they will never learn by themselves. How did babies learn to walk before this invention? added on 2008-08-08

As the picture shows, babies in bathrobes are adorable. But DO NOT get tricked: babies do not hang out on the couch with a cigar and a gin-tonic, therefore, they don't need a bathrobe.
After a bath, the last thing I want to do is trying to put my son's little arms into a bathrobe sleeves, and to do it again to put him into his clothes. Also, I don't think babies would like hanging out for long in a wet bathrobe.
So, get a hooded towel instead: much more practical and gets your baby dry and into his clothes much faster. added on 2008-08-08

These are like bean bag hands, meant to replace your own hands. If I buy 10 of these, will I ever need a nanny when I go back to work?
Using these would make me feel like I am LAZY and LYING to my son. And I would miss the soft touch of his skin, and the warmth of his body, and being close to him, and his smell, and everything else.

The person who designed this is allergic to dogs and babies, so can't touch them.

Really, a wipe warmer with light? Who thought of that? Probably somebody who never had kids. First of all, my baby, and no baby I know, minds the temperature of a butt wipe. Second of all, if I need light to see at night when I am changing a diaper and have to unbutton and re-button millions of snaps in the middle of the night, then I just turn on the light on my nightstand!! added on 2008-08-08

I thought it was a joke when I saw these, but no, someone has seriously designed this.
It's stupid because:
- I can just buy a new pack of onesies for the same price as these extenders.
- Some of my onesies have 4 or more snaps, or the snaps might be larger snaps, or at different distance from each other.

My suggestions:
- if you are trying to make a onesie last longer because you love the cartoon on it, then just cut out the piece you like and sew it on a new onesie.
- if you are trying to make a onesie last longer because it's a fancy brand and you want everyone else to know that your baby is wearing a fancy brand, then just cut the tag or label off the old onesie and sew it somewhere very visible on a new onesie.

I vacillate between thinking that this costume is funny and thinking that this costume is disgusting, and extremely dangerous. What if your old aunt mistakes the baby for the real turkey and sticks your child in the oven? added on 2008-08-08

Who thinks that letting my child sleep or play with an electronic device (with a cord) on my baby's bottom is OK??

I have just invented a better technique: what about changing your baby's diaper every 3 or 4 hours. Or what about smelling your baby's bottom to see if it smells like pee or poo? Perhaps it's too easy and too safe of a technique...

These are supposed to slow down traffic... but this trick will not work very long: eventually drivers will get used to it, know it's a fake, and might not even pay attention to a real child mistaking it for a cardboard one... added on 2007-08-12
